Theatre programme

6-9 October Dracula

Latecomers to performances will no longer be allowed into the auditorium until the end of a scene or an act, in order to lessen the disruption of the performance for other members of the audience.

 

 

Tuesday mornings at the Ifield Barn Theatre.

The theatre is open between 10.00am and 1.00pm for coffee, maybe a bun, and in general to have a social morning.

Please do come and support us, it is an opportunity for those not working to get together during a daytime.

 Baking hot day...cool relaxing evening; that's our painting evenings..

 

SUNDAY 4 JULY@ 12.45 pm   PICNIC LUNCH

Bring your picnic and enjoy the pleasant surroundings of the Barn with like-minded company.

THURSDAY 22 JULY    GREEN ROOM AGM

The business end of the Barn Theatre. We need your support to guide us along the right path so come and make your opinions

known.

 

SUNDAY 1st AUGUST    SUNDAY LUNCH, WALK AND TEA    Come for a pleasant stroll through the fields that surround the Barn and be back in time for afternoon tea.

 

FRIDAY 6th AUGUST @ 8pm    PAINTING EVENING

                       

These masterpieces need finishing so come along and do it tonight.

 

FRIDAY 13th August @ 8 pm     PLAY READING

                           

Whose piece will be read tonight???? Come along to find out. We can guarantee it will be interesting.

There will be a gentle wind down for the rest of August, ready for a new season of Green Room events from September. The bar will be open as normal on a Friday evening and Sunday lunchtime.

Dear Barn Members

A huge thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make this year’s Mayfayre, another great success. The crowds turned out in spite of the weather, and the new layout necessitated by the loss of the old vicarage garden seemed to work well.


With most of the figures now available it has proved to be another financial success: an overall profit of £7,500 will be equally shared between the Church and the Barn Theatre.

Pens required…..

I understand we are getting short of pens again.  People "borrow" them and then they disappear!

 

If anyone has collected pens and pencils, stationery, from hotels, conferences, etc and would care to donate them, it would be appreciated.

The bar at the Barn is staffed by volunteers and more people are always needed to help with this

The bar is open Friday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes as well as on performance nights.

Full training will be given.
